Prada in close-up

Well, not really backstage right after the show, but a few days later, when all the buzz is gone and what is really essential, is still around: the collection. I love that particular moment, when a PR gives you the opportunity to come back to the showroom and see the collection up close. It’s really a privilege to see the colour combinations, the fabrics, the finishings with your own eyes, before they are published in glossy magazines and before they come into stores. In the pictures that follow, you can see how Miuccia Prada puts together her ensembles. How she creates new colour codes and how she dares. Miuccia’s winter 2015 may be over in stores (almost) but not in my mind. Oh, and I forget to add: the setting is the one of the fashion show, as always a project by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas.
