Backstage at Isabelle de Borchgrave

Isabelle de Borchgrave has her way with paper. She cuts and paints it, and brings it to life in a magical way. As a young woman she did an internship at Fornasetti, where she could 'just draw drops'. Now she runs her own studio, doing projects for herself and for other companies. In case you noticed: she just created the windows at Hermès in Paris. Here's some backstage imagery of how her studio works.

Her recent feather exhibition was a major success

Isabelle is a colorist from start to finish

Even her files are put away in special paper editions

Needless to say: the artist has worked on historical costumes for major museums

Even entire cabinets are made out of paper
